Heterogeneous expression of DuraPETase was observed in C. testosteroni CNB-1. A DuraPETase was fused with different signal peptide and promoters to facilitate extracellular secretion in CNB-1. Different recombinant plasmids were constructed and introduced into CNB-1 to generate corresponding strains, which were designated as CNB-1A to CNB-1D, respectively.
