A Special Issue of Bioresources and Bioprocessing for JSEE 2016:
14th China-Japan-Korea Joint Symposium on Enzyme Engineering
Guest Editors: Cheng Jin, Michihiko Kataoka, Hak-Sung Kim, Yong Tao and Hui-Lei Yu
Bioresources and Bioprocessing (BRBP) plans to publish a Special Issue with a subject of “Enable More Enzymes to Work in Factory”. This special issue is in liaison with the 14th China-Japan-Korea Joint Symposium on Enzyme Engineering (JSEE 2016), which will be held in Nanning, Guangxi, China during 16–18 November 2016. All the participants of this exciting symposium are cordially invited to submit their original research articles including rapid communications or mini-reviews to this open-access but free-of-charge journal published by the Springer Nature group and sponsored by the State Key Laboratory of Bioreactor Engineering (http://sklbe.ecust.edu.cn/en/). The Impact Factor of this 2.5-year-old China-based journal is rapidly increasing, with >1.1 citations per article from Web of Science during 2014-2015.
The topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
• Discovery of New Enzymes (Screening systems, Metagenome approaches);
• Enzyme Engineering (Rational design, Directed evolution, Computational design);
• Structure-Function Relationships of Enzymes (Reaction Mechanism, Bioinformatics);
• Enzyme-based Synthesis (Biorefinery, Bioconversion, Industrial processes, Metabolic engineering);
• New Applications (Biosensor, Therapeutics, Bioremediation).
All papers and supplementary information (if any) should be submitted online and prepared according to the BRBP guidelines. Authors should indicate that the paper is submitted for the special issue in their cover letter and is not published or being considered to publish elsewhere. All submissions will be subject to peer review before possible acceptance for publication in BRBP which is free of charge and highly accessed by readers from all over the world.
Deadline for submissions: 15 Feb,2017
