Picture-in-picture thermal imaging of the tube reactor during biochar ozonization with its temperature scale (23–70 °C) displayed on the far right side. The experiment began with introduction of ozone gas into the reactor containing 50 g of biochar at ambient temperature (23 °C). As ozone reacted with biochar, the reactor got warmer. The top left value of 90.3 °C denotes the temperature recorded at the biochar reactor hot spot, as pointed by the cursor after 10-min treatment with ozone (recording time 15:18)
