Alkali pretreatment to CLP was given using 0.5, 0.75 or 1% NaOH, incubation time varied 48, 72, or 96 h, pH adjusted to 5, 6, or 7, and moistening agent was used mineral salt medium (MSM) or yeast extract (YE) or both (MSM + YE)
