Effect of different translate rates of RBSs on ε-caprolactone yields catalyzed by the E. coli BL21 (DE3) cells using 40 mM (a), 60 mM (b), 80 mM (c & d) cyclohexanol as substrates. The whole-cell biocatalysis was carried out in triplicate at 25 ℃ for 16 h (a, b and c) and 24 h (d). Data were expressed as the mean values accompanied by the standard deviations. The significant analysis between the data was performed through multiple t tests by GraphPad Prism 8.0. *, p < 0.05, **, p < 0.01, ***, p < 0.001, ns, not significant
