A Special Issue of Bioresources and Bioprocessing for the CSC 2020: The 26th Canadian Symposium on Catalysis

Bioresources and Bioprocessing (BIOB) is a leading open access journal on sustainable approaches to bioresource development, processing and utilization. Now this BIOB plans to publish a Special Issue with the subject of “Biocatalysis for Fuels and Chemicals”. The principal focus of this special issue is to explore recent advances in the biocatalytic processing of renewable resources to produce sustainable fuels and chemicals. This issue will publish high quality research on the application of biological catalysts for synthesis, interconversion or degradation of chemicals and biopolymers. This special issue is in liaison with The 26th Canadian Symposium on Catalysis (CSC 2020, http://www.catalysisdivision.ca/?mode=conference), which will be held in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, June 9-12, 2020. All the participants of this exciting symposium are cordially invited to submit their original manuscripts including research articles, rapid communications or mini-reviews to this open-access but free-of-charge journal published by the Springer Nature and sponsored by the State Key Laboratory of Bioreactor Engineering, China. More importantly, to save your valuable time, the peer-review process will be started immediately after the manuscript is submitted to the BIOB and each of the accepted papers will be published quickly within 3-5 days in one-by-one mode.
The topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Biocatalysis and biotransformation
- Design of stable biocatalyst and novel electro-biocatalyst
- Chemical and genetic modification of biocatalyst
- Immobilization of biocatalyst
- Kinetics and thermodynamics of biocatalytic processes
- Biocatalytic reactions for industrial settings
- Environmental applications of biocatalysis
- Other topics related to biocatalysis
All papers and supplementary information (if any) should be submitted online (http://www.editorialmanager.com/biob/default.aspx) and prepared according to the BIOB guidelines (http://bioresourcesbioprocessing.springeropen.com/submission-guidelines). Authors should indicate that the paper is submitted for the special issue in their cover letter and is not published or being considered to publish elsewhere. All submissions will be subjected to peer review as regularly before possible acceptance for publication in BIOB which is free of charge and highly accessed by readers from all over the world.
